Auto GPT is a newly released amalgamation of GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 (OpenAI’s text-generating models) that is capable of running autonomously after being given a task. Rather than relying on the back and forth, with a person providing a prompt and the AI model responding, Auto GPT creates and executes prompts until the task is completed.

What makes it different from GPT-4 and ChatGPT is its ability to execute multi-step prompts and create workarounds for problems completely on its own. Couple that with its long and short-term memory (and its integration with ElevenLabs for speech synthesis) you have yourself a tool capable of executing most of your mundane tasks.

Auto GPT is still in its early stages, but it seems like this new version of the technology will unlock e-commerce brands to really convert and automate full actions or processes in their day-to-day operations. Keep your eyes out for any new apps that are utilizing Auto GPT.
