Enhancing StateSet ReSponse AI Agents with Memory

What the fastest growing DTC brands will look like 2028.

We are accelerating. It’s a great time to be a AI builder in San Francisco.

There is a shift happening. With hackathons nights and weekends, new groundbreaking language model releases, AI accelerated coding; we at StateSet are moving faster than ever before. We're excited to share a powerful new addition to ReSponse, developed in collaboration with the team at mem0.ai

The Challenge:

Maintaining context across multiple customer interactions has been a persistent challenge in CX & operations. Legacy helpdesk and operations platform struggle to efficiently query and connect information from various tickets and messages for a specific customer. They even struggle to reconcile customer interactions when the same users write in with a different email! Say goodbye to the rigid and expensive systems of the 2010s and hello the the commerce operating systems of the 2030s.

Memories

What if we could go beyond general company knowledge, FAQs and macros as context for a generative model? How could we create an even more personalized context based on every customer interaction for the AI to leverage when generating a response?

We've introduced "Memories" to provide additional context for each interaction between a customer and our ReSponse AI agent. This new innovative feature allows us to store and retrieve important information shared by customers, enhancing future conversations and every customer touch point.

When a customer shares information—such as preferences, interests, or any relevant data—our system now stores it as a memory associated with that customer. In subsequent interactions, our AI Agent accesses these memories to provide more contextually relevant and personalized responses.

Imagine a customer mentions they will be traveling for a few months and to cancel their subscription. In all future interactions across various channels (email, chat, etc.), ReSponse will incorporate this context, creating a more personalized experience. In a follow up message, ReSponse offers to pause the subscription instead and sends them a travel pack for while they are on the go.

Memory Evolution

ReSponse can also track how memories evolve over time. When the customer later mentions to start up the subscription again; ReSponse can update the memory for that customer, set their next billing date & reactive their subscription.

This feature will be part of our most advanced version of ReSponse, offering enhanced memory and advanced reasoning capabilities. It enables the creation of a more comprehensive and unified customer profile that goes beyond standard knowledge, FAQs and macros; providing truly personalized interactions and driving outcomes across all of CX & operations.

Key Benefits:

✅ Improved Personalization: Automated responses become more tailored to each customer's unique preferences and history.

✅ Enhanced Customer Insights: Heads of CX and Operations gain deeper insights into customer interactions across all touch points.

✅ Increased Retention and Revenue Opportunities: Better personalization allows for more advanced retention strategies.

✅ Continuous Improvement: We're creating a flywheel effect where improved personalization leads to better responses, which in turn provides more valuable data for better insights into how to create better customer experiences.

2028

This advancement marks a significant step towards a more intelligent, context-aware customer experience, setting a new standard in AI powered commerce operations. This is the agentic operating system of the future; it’s personalized, autonomous and modern. Welcome… to what all of the fastest growing DTC brands powered by StateSet will look like in 2028.
